| ROCK GOES TO COLLEGE DVD U2 Belfast Queen’s University January 23rd, 1981 Pro-shot Broadcast This is a 2nd generation NTSC copy of a BBC broadcast called ‘ROCK GOES TO COLLEGE’ where U2 & Stiff Little Fingers co-headlined. The source tape does show a bit of wear & tear considering the age & it went through PAL>NTSC but it’s the best copy I’ve come across in 20 yrs of collecting. It is a nice clear copy with multiple camera angles & excellent sound. I believe this to be the 1st true live broadcast of U2 on tv, up to this point they had made several appearances on Irish & UK tv, but mostly mimed performances in a studio.
