POPMART - TEMPE, AZ - 5/9/97
Low gen vhs-to-dvd. I don't know who the taper was (but thanks for sharing this film!) Master tape had some video flaws during the end of Bullet thru all of Please and parts of Streets. I was going to cut that section out, but to my knowledge this is the best (and maybe only) full video of this show, and I'm also hoping someone might sync up some better audio to this video (I was going to try, but I think I need different software).
Camera seems to be a hand held from lower seats to the right of the B stage (where the lemon rolled out to off Adam's side of the stage). Parts are sort of shaky, but quite watchable throughout most of the show. Audience noise is minimal on this recording, not really any screamers. Bono was very energetic in this show, but you can certainly tell it was an early part of the tour, they're still working out their routine.
I've cut the DVD with root menu & chapters. Photos used in the menu are screen shots from the video. I can prep cover art if anyone wants it.
