In hindsight I should have switched the two, just because I have since found that my MZ-R30 is generally better for audience recordings. The CD burner is a Pioneer PDR-555RW. ALD recording from Chicago, IL at the United Center on May 12th, 2001. Highlights include a "guest" appearance by Jonathan (an audience member) on keyboards during Stay. Also, a fan dances seductively with Bono while he sings "Mysterious Ways", and he is completely taken by surprise. There are many songs that sound great. Unfortunately, there are also many that plagued with static and dropouts in numerous places. Disc 1 is flawed pretty bad, while disc 2 is really nice up until the final few songs. Some of the songs were so flawwed that I didn't even attempt to clean them up. Of the remastering done, there was some static in "Wake Up Dead Man" that was nicely removed, as well as some dead air static at the end of "The Fly" and "Pride" which was only present during audience clapping. Here's a song by song grading. Overall grade: Good soundboard. Elevation light static near end Beautiful Day HEAVY static in a few spots, light static throughout Until The End Of The World static throughout New Year's Day minor static in some spots but not bad at all Stuck In A Moment LOTS of static and music drops out a few times Kite static in beginning, minor dropouts in middle, otherwise really nice Gone first 2 minutes of the song is missing with static & dropouts New York lots of static & dropouts I Will Follow first 30 seconds bad, but after that great! Sunday Bloody Sunday light hiss in a few spots Band Introductions light hiss In A Little While light hiss at first, but then there's static and the song is literally "gone" Desire light static in beginning and great after that!
