Genealogy : 1st gen analog > MD > Standalone Burner > CDR > EAC (Secure ) > SHN Leif Petersen put the show from tape to CDR. The 29th show is a very good recording except the mic went down alot after a tape flip between "Running To Stand Still" and "People Get Ready". The mic did not quite get back to the earlier level till "Exit". "Sunday Bloody Sunday" could have been cut off due to the tape flip at that point. There is another tape flip between "New Year's Day" and "Pride", but the recording level remains relatively unchanged. The recording level dropped a bit during the encore from "Without Or Without You" onwards. One other flaw I noticed was during the starting of "Streets", a few seconds of the music was lost twice, but it was during the Edge's guitar intro. The extra tracks tacked at the end are from a soundboard souce from the earlier night's show. Its from a 4th gen tape, thus a prominent tape hiss can be heard during the quieter parts. |
