NOTE: I got this from an old tape trader from Denmark by the name of Leif Petersen. He remastered this recording from a 1st generation analog tape. I have not heard heard a better versions of this same gig on CDR format.  The mic slowly works its way up during "WTSHNN", and by "I Will Follow" its in a very good position. The last 10 seconds of "40" is cut off. One or two background conversations can be heard occasionally but this does not distract the listener at all.

An excellent show by the band, with Bono interacting with the crowd often.  Before "People Get Ready", Bono jokes with the crowd by saying, "The Edge operates me by strings like a puppet.  He got this big key that sticks in my back before a show and turns it round and round.  He said one day maybe you'll be able to play guitar but you'll never play guitar like me..Actually he didn't say that....far too modest a man is our Edge.  I said it for him and I know you'll agree.  This is a song that is written on 3 chords. So errmm....even a musical dunce can play it.  That is me I'm talking about.  Is there is any other musical dunce out there that would like to take my place?  I may be a musical dunce but I got soul.  And so had Curtis Mayfield....and that is why we do this song.  Its called 'People Get Ready'."  "Spanish Eyes" is improvised with a booming drum solo by Larry.
