“My feeling is, that it is cool f or the people to share ourmusic - as long as no one is making money from the process. We tell the people who come to our concerts that they can tape the show if they want. I think, it is cool that people are so passionate about our music.”

Comments:
This is an awesome boot. Apparently recorded from a radio broadcast, these two CDs offer excellent sound quality. However, I must also state that there are a few negative comments about this boot. Most important is the fact that the first half of Staring At The Sun is missing, as is the end of Where The Streets Have No Name (the Playboy Mansion part)! Staring At The Sun begins halfway with "Intransigence is all around...". This is a real pity since the performance sounds exceptional. The same holds for Streets, where it seems as if Bono is singing something different during the ending (but then the song fades away). There are at least superb and complete versions on the Popheart EP, but it is still unfortunate that are missing here. Edge's 'wailing' guitar during Gone is also mixed too far to the back, but this seems to be a mistake from the mixer in the stadium, not of the bootlegger. At least we can hear Bono playing rhythm guitar clearly! So far for the negative comments. The concert is ace. U2 was certainly on it that night. Every song sounds fresh. When listening I discovered many little variations in the performance (extra keyboard sounds during Mofo, slightly different sequencer during Bad, etc.). Bono's voice was in exquisite shape. There are no other words to describe the performance. Emotional high is the last song, Mothers Of The Disappeared, when the Mothers appear on stage. Chilling!Track 13 on Disc 1 is just a small snippet of the song, like Bono performed often during the Zoo TV Tour. The last track on the first disc is the solo-version by The Edge. Track 7 on Disc 2 is the the crowd noise during the two songs. I can recommend this boot to everyone. It easily beats POPDREAM BELIEVER (the other Popmart boot I have) in both sound quality and performance. Find it, buy it and you won't be disappointed.
