“My feeling is, that it is cool f or the people to share ourmusic - as long as no one is making money from the process. We tell the people who come to our concerts that they can tape the show if they want. I think, it is cool that people are so passionate about our music.”

Review by:  Jason Hiller
The Georgia Straight reported that Bono was very unwell that day. Flu, a little laryngitis, this was the sound of it. The concert was, according to this article, almost a no go. So hats off to Bono for a fully energetic effort, though we missed those high notes.  However, it must be said yet again that BC Place should be avoided as a venue for this kind of show. The sound wasn't as bad as some say, though it may have depended where you were standing. However, it was bad enough that it is much more a visual then a sonic event. The interplay of screen and band was brilliantly conceived and integrated. For my dime, listening to edge harmonize with Bono on staring at the sun was right up there with the best of it.
